I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know we did just like every year. We had a ton of parties and we also were able to spend good times with friends. Mp and Holly had a party where we got to make ginger bread houses. Brooklyn loved decorating her house. My parents also did a game night. I loved spending time with the people you love this time of year. I made a whole bunch of a collages cause I had way to many pics.

My grandma Bennett had a Christmas party and even Santa got to come. Little Mason wasnt liking that at all. Brooklyn I think sat on Santa's lap at least 5 times this year at the mall :)

Ty's parents had a Christmas Eve party. The little kids fished for presents behind the couch and the big kids fished for presents in a huge box. They always find creative things to do and we had a blast. All the kids got matching pjs and at the end of the night we went around the room to say what we are grateful for and I couldnt help but think of my family and the health we have been blessed with. On Christmas day we woke up and Santa came to our house. I love the look on Brooklyn's face when she saw all her presents. Mason wasnt really into unwrapping his presents so Brooklyn offered her help :) My kids get so spoiled every year by not only santa but grandmas and grandpas. Ty got a tablet for Christmas and a big gift I got was a Kitchen Aid. I have made homemade honey whole wheat bread and home made frosting. haha Im in heaven.

VegAs and TuRkEy DaY!

The beginning of November we had the chance to go with our friends on a weekend get away to Vegas. There were 6 couples total that went. We stayed at Caesars Palace thanks to our wonderful friends the Amos's and Mp's dad who got us VIP! It was such a nice weekend just to hang out with no kids and enjoy each others company. The girls of course did a lot of shopping and the guys went golfing. At night we would meet back up and hit the casinos! I cant wait to do it again!!!

TURKEY DAY! This year for Thanksgiving we went to my Grandma Bennett's house. I love spending time with family and playing games. Im so grateful for so many things. My kids, who are my world, my wonderful Hubby who does so much for our fam, and of course friends and family. Its nice to remember everything we have been truely blessed with this time of year. That night we drove to Park City to do some Black Friday Shopping. Ty's parents were nice enough to let our kids spend the night. It was so crazy but so much fun.

On November 2nd my little guy turned 18 months.. I cant believe how much of a big boy he is turning into. Here's his stats.. Wt: 27 lbs 67%
Ht: 34 in 89%
Head: 19 in 62%

I have really been so blessed to have this little buddy of mine if my life. Mason went through a period where he got to be really fussy. It lasted for about 6 months. There definately were days where I thought I cant do this anymore. I had to pray for patience with this little guy and pray that he would grow out of it soon. I dont know why he got really fussy but things are getting SO MUCH BETTER. He literally melts my heart every single day. Heres some things that he loves and that hes doing.
Loves Brooklyn and everything about her. Its cute to watch them play together more.
Loves his daddy especially when he gets home from work. They love to wrestle together.
I would have to say he is a definate mommy's boy which i heart :)
Still is obsessed with anything that has wheels on it.
Loves Yo Gabba Gabba.
Loves when mommy chases him up and down the hall way and he giggles the whole time
Is a great eater.. he will eat just about anything.
Loves to pull hair.
Gives me kisses every single morning when i get him out of his crib (there is nothing better)
Loves the bath.
Absolutely loves his uncle Ry Ry
Loves to make lots and lots of messes
Hates going to the store :)
well i literally could go on and on but there were some that popped up when I thought about my big boy. At Mason's appt we had asked what the doc felt about getting mason's ears pinned back. His ears have always stuck out just a tad and he gave us a referral to go see what a specialist thinks. I am going to make his appt at the beginning of the year and we will go from there. If he has to get them done which im thinking yes it will be sooner than later. Poor guy but i think he will thank me in the future. Love my little Mason!

I absolutely love this time of year. Weather, tree's changing, sweaters and of course hot chocolate. This year we went to the Syracuse Pumpkin walk with our good friends the Amos's. The kids loved it and it was pretty cool to see all the awesome pumpkins that the kids had carved. For Halloween this year we let Brooklyn pick out her costume. She wanted to be a pink pirate. She was the cutest pirate i have ever seen. I swear every year gets funner and funner as my kids are getting older. I loved watching her giggle as she ran from house to house even though she insisted she was not saying "trick or treat" i dont know why but those of you who know Brooklyn knows she sticks to her word. haha. After going to a couple houses she started to warm up and decided she could say it. Mason was an alligator. My friend Hanna let us borrow the costume and it fit him perfectly. My favorite thing about his costume was his tail. He was loving being outside running around and of course eating lots and lots of candy :)

I know im trying to play catch up but I wanted to share some more things we did this summer since ive slacked and really havent posted anything. In August we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I cant believe how fast it has gone. The best 5 years of my life. I love my hubby so much! For our anniversary we went for our annual sushi dinner and of course shopping. Whats an anniversary without shopping. Sadly that night we got a call from Ty's mom that his grandpa had passed away so it was a very happy day and also sad. We miss him a ton. This summer we were also able to go in on a boat with my dad. Probably the best thing ever. I think we went boating every weekend and it was so much fun.

My parents rented a condo in Pineview for the weekend. It was a blast. They have a pool and hot tub in the condo community so if we werent boating we were swimming in the pool.

The life of teenagers. My brothers brought some of their friends along for the weekend. I dont think they were used to having little kids around. Lets just say they didnt get to sleep in past 7 every day :)

Me and my friend Holly ran the Layton half this year. Despite literally freezing to death, and not being able to feel my legs til mile 4 the race went really well. This was my first half marathon. I did it in 2 hours and 1 minute. My goal was to do it under 2 but ill take it. Next race is Ogden half...

HaWaii VaCA

I know I havent posted in forever. Ive done a horrible job but things have been busy this summer. For Ty's work we were able to go to Hawaii for 8 days. Can i just say PARADISE. It was absolutely gorgeous. I dream about going back there. Anyways. Tysons parents and nicole watched our kids for us which we are forever grateful. Our resort was on the Big Island and we stayed in the Hilton in Kona. We well I did a lot of laying out, swimming, shopping, ran around the beautiful resort, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and of course attended some business meetings. Im so proud of Tyson. He won a big award this year. Its called Gateway of the year. Which means out of everybody that started when he did... he was #1 out of all of them in the company. Congrats babe!! Heres some pics they are not in order but heres a glimpse of this beautiful place.

This 4th of July was a blast. We had a BBQ & fireworks at Grandma Kims house. Then Layton parade. Brooklyn was in heaven and Mason hated every second of it. Im happy we have the freedom to choose and do as we please. Im very grateful for all the troops that have served and serve our country today.

Mason turned 1 on May 2nd. I still cant believe my baby is 1. This year has flown by. Here are some things Mason is doing: Crawling everywhere( getting closer to walking) Says Mama and Dada, Hi. Loves playing with anything with wheels on it. LOves everything to do with Brooklyn.

We had his B-Day party on Saturday. We did a BBQ, cupcakes and ice cream. Im really disappointed in myself. On Saturday we went to my Gma Bennett's house for an Easter party. Brooklyn had so much fun hunting eggs. She loves spending time with her cousins. We had a pizza party and then after went bowling at Boondocks.

So much has happened so far this year. We celebrated Brooklyn's 3rd birthday in January, moved back into our home. YAY!! Mason is now 10 months old and is crawling. Yikes. Here is what our Mason is doing right now: He just got two more teeth in up top. He is officially crawling and standing up to stuff. He has such a cute personality. Definately a fussier baby but is also super sweet. He LOVES Brooklyn and everything about her. Loves to watch her be crazy and just laughs. He is starting to eat human food and very much enjoys it.

This is when he was first starting to crawl. He would lift one of his legs up sort of like yoga. haha

Everything Brooklyn loves to do: She loves to help me with everything. Loves anything girly or with princesses. She adores Mason. Has quite the attitude. Loves shoes, make up, lip gloss, fights with me to do her hair. The list goes on and on but I love her so very much. Thanks for everyone who came to her party. This year we had it at Boondocks. She loved playing there with all her friends. We had a princess cake with cupcakes around it. Very pink!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know we did. I swear every year we just get more and more spoiled. Thanks everyone for the wonderful gifts. We had quite the busy December. I think we had 5 different Christmas parties and Ty's work party. Here's some of the things we did this December. We went through the lights about a hundred times. Jk but we went through them enough. Brooklyn loved them and so did Mason. I have to share a little story about Brooklyn Christmas Eve night. We had just got done talking about Santa and how he would be coming that night . She had been looking out our window for him. (Painting the picture for you) We were getting ready for bed and usually she says her own prayer out loud so it was the usual for her to go first. Here is her prayer: Heavenly Fader, Please bless Santa that he can come to our house. Please bless mommy and daddy that they can look out the window for him. Please bless the presents that they will be strong and healfy. Please bless him that he will eat the cookies. Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Me and Ty almost couldnt contain ourselves. What a silly girl. haha. I couldnt imagine life without her. Lots of pictures so ENJOY~

I know I am so behind on this but in October we took a trip to Minneapolis MN. My uncle lives there and we always said we wanted to go there. We finally made it happen. Ty's parents watched Brooklyn and Mason so we were BABY FREE.. It was nice just the two of us to spend time together. My side of the family went. It was a blast. We of course went to the Mall of America.. (which was absolutely unbelievable) and then went to a Vikings game...

Here is just the Amusement part of the mall.. it had so many stores in there. I think there was about 3 Victoria's Secrets, 3 Abercrombie's, 3 of everything because it was so big to walk. I definitely want to go back there someday.

Ty couldn't hang.. HE actually fell asleep on the bed.

I have seriously been such a SLACKER lately. I cant believe its almost been 3 months since I have last posted. Life has been really busy with two kids. I feel like when I do get a second to myself I should be doing other things. I am going to recap our Summer. It has been way fun. It is not in order at all so.. bare with me.

Our little Brooklyn.. She is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She is very smart and has quite the attitude. She loves being a big sister.. (A little to much) but enjoys having a little brother.

Our not so little Mason anymore. He will be 6 months on Nov 2nd! Can you believe that?? He is such a sweet boy.. When we took him to his 4 month appt he weighed in at 16.9 lbs and 23.5 inches long. He looks just like his daddy.

In August we celebrated our 4 year Anniversary!! This years have seriously gone by so fast. I'm so lucky to have a hubby like him. On our anniversary we went and ate at Olive Garden, got cold stone ice cream, and went shopping!!!

I promise I am going to blog more. We just got back from Minneapolis. I have tons of pics to post. I hope everyone has had a great summer.

A couple weeks ago I took Mason to his check up. He is such a good healthy baby. I love him to pieces. Such a sweetheart. He currently is weighing 12lbs 14oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. That puts him in 66% for weight and 59% for height. We love our growing baby!! I seriously couldn't of asked for a better baby. He is sleeping all the way through the night which makes it so nice for me to get up and actually have energy for the gym in the morning! Love you Mason!!

I love this Holiday so much. Weather is wonderful, fireworks, yummy food and drinks! Every year we go to my great grandma's. She was able to make it. We were so happy she came. She is currently in a rest home and this year was especially sad because her house is now sold. Last year having it at her home. :(

Last but not least we went to Bear Lake this past weekend. It was so much fun. Weather was great. Tyson's moms side all rented a house together. There was at one time a total of 30 people all in one house. Things got a little crazy.. Dance off's, holes in walls, glass broken.. yeah we had a little to much fun.

As they were playing, Ty's little cousin came up to us and said that they looked so familiar... He swore they played on the Real Salt Lake team.. We all were thinking yeah right. Come to find out.. These were the players from Real. So our boys played against them..

sad to say they lost 2-1 but that's ok.. at least they got to play against them.

I couldnt take this off of her. She just wanted it on all the time.. Which is a good thing for me.

LaGoOn AnD GrAdUaTioN DaY!!

So this year we have bought season tickets to Lagoon. Brooklyn loves going there and loves all the rides. Everytime we drive by Farmington she points at it and says "I ride Puff". We have already gone to Laguna Beach and I love it there. Ahh.. Just cant wait til the weather gets better so we can go every Monday with the gang.

So my wonderful sister in law has been helping me to learn glitter toes and nails. They are so much fun. I am still practicing on Gel nails. So if you want or know anybody who wants their nails done im only charging $20 dollars!! For glitter toes they are $15. The glitter toes usually last 4-8 weeks and it only takes me about half an hour. They are perfect for summer time. I have over 30 colors to choose from. My pictures arent the best but you get the point. Let me know if you want yours done!!

On Saturday May 2nd. We welcomed our second baby into this world. Mason Ty Ehlers. He was born at 2:09 in the morning. 6lbs and 6oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Delivery went really well.. He came pretty quick. I started having contractions at like 8:00. We got there and I was dialated at a 2 almost 3 and was 80%. They made me walk to for an hour to see if I was really in labor. They checked me again and nothing had changed. I was so sad. I thought for sure they were gonna send me home. My contractions then were about 1-2 minutes apart. The babies heart rate was kind of high so they decided to keep me. Good thing they did. 3 hours later our baby was born. Three pushes and he came right out. I am so happy to have a little boy. He is such a sweetie. I love this whole new born stage. I never want him to get big. Here are pics of our wonderful day..

The weather has been for the most part so nice lately. We have been able to play outside a lot. Brooklyn loves to be outside.

Ok so I know I havent done a post in a long time. So much has been going on. Trying to get ready for the baby, Brooklyn being Brooklyn, her sick, mommy sick. Ugh. Here is an update on everything. We had a great Easter weekend. Here is Brooklyn on Easter morning. Getting all of her Easter baskets.

This is her usual outfit. She hates wearing pants. She just wants to be in a shirt and "cheerleader panties" Did I mention she was potty trained? Yep she is! Yay. She caught on pretty quick to the idea. What really helped the most is that we told her that she is wearing cheerleader panties and she got all excited! She is obsessed with cheerleaders and kicking her legs, doing cheers e.t.c. So of course cheerleaders don't do potty in their panties so she cant either. What comes with that is she tells me cheerleaders don't wear pants haha. Which is true. S0 no pants for Brooklyn. (Whatever as long as she is doing big girl potty!)

Ok so I'll update on the baby status. I am 34 weeks. Whew. We had a scare last week. Ty had just gotten back from Idaho on a work trip and about half an hour before that I had went to the bathroom to find out I had started to bleed. (Sorry if this is kinda gross) I was so scared cause I know some women tend to do that through out their pregnancies but I have never. So he barely walked through the door and off we went to the hospital. I got checked in and I started to have contractions about 2-3 minutes apart. They gave me a shot to slow them down but that wasnt really working so they gave me another shot. They started to slow down. The nurse checked me and said i was dialated to almost a 2 and was about 50%. I stayed over night to make sure the bleeding stopped and along with the contractions. The next morning everything was getting back to normal. They really didn't know why I started bleeding and contracting but told me to take it easy. So for the last week I have been trying not to do to much but it's pretty hard with a 2 year old running around. Im very grateful that this baby is deciding to stay in a big longer. Hopefully another 3 weeks at least. Keep your fingers crossed! It's so crazy to think I will be having another baby soon. We are so excited for this little guy. No name yet! We are still deciding between two. My goal is to start blogging more. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

As most of you know my little brothers are seniors this year at Layton. Adam plays basketball and Brooklyn loves to go to his games. Instead of saying Go Lancers (which sometimes she does)but mostly she is saying Go Cheerleaders!! She loves to watch them dance, cheer, and stunt. My mom bought her this cheerleading outfit during football season and she loves it. At home she will stand on the couch and do her layton cheer and jump off like she is in a stunt. Silly girl.

So on Monday we had Brooklyn's doctor's appt. She had to get two shots. I'm so glad were over the shot stage for now. It breaks my heart to have to pin her down to get them!! I always knew my Brooklyn was a little chunky but when the doctor told me the average 2 year old weighs 26 pounds and my baby weighs 33 I thought that was pretty funny. She is in the 97th% for weight and 80% for height. The girl loves whole milk.

So my friends told me a couple weeks ago I should start taking pictures of my pregnancy and when I got thinking about it I realized I have maybe 5 pictures of me being pregnant with Brooklyn. So my goal is to take pictures at least once a week. This pregnancy has definately been different than Brooklyns. I havent thrown up for over 3 weeks now so I think im done with that. This baby sits really really low on me. ( that explains why everytime I sneeze or cough I tinkle my pants). So far it's been really great. Tired most of the time but so worth it.

Here I am at 24 weeks. ahhh gotta love the weight gain.

I am so behind on this post but I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We got so spoiled as usual. Brooklyn wasnt to sure about opening presents but loved seeing what was inside.

This year my parents got her a play house. She absolutely loves it. She is always wanting everyone to sit inside it with her and play.

Everytime we went to walmart she had to go down the bike aisle. She loves to sit on it. Doesnt quite know how to ride but this is all she asked for all the time. A Bike!! It will be perfect for summer time.

For Christmas Eve we went to Ty's parents house. They had lots of fun games, Prizes, and yummy food.

We are so excited to announce that we will be having a little BOY!!! I actually found out last month at our appt. I was about 14 weeks along and my doctor said that he was pretty sure it was a boy, but today confirmed it! We are so so happy. Ty really wanted a boy and I was pretty much 50/50 but now that i know, I couldnt be any happier. What a early great christmas present! Brooklyn is already talking about her baby brother. I hope everyone has a great Holiday season!!

I absolutely love this time of year. Not only is it ok to eat whatever you want but I love spending time with family. I just want to list some of the things I am thankful for, I cant do all of them cause there is just to many but here are some that pop in my head.

Thankful for*
-My husband who is wonderful and who does everything he can to provide for our family. His unconditional love in being a father and hubby.

-My wonderful Brooklyn. I am so grateful she was able to come into our lives. She is everything to us. So sweet and precious. Never a boring moment with her and I love that.

- New baby to come. So grateful for the oppourtunity to have babies. I know some people who can't or who are trying and it has really set me back to realize the blessing of having children.

-Friends and Family. We have the best friends and family anyone can ever ask for. They are so wonderful to us. We love spending time with them.

-The roof over our head.

-And last but not least the Gospel. Im grateful that my husband is a priesthood holder and who blesses our family in many ways. Grateful for callings and the blessings that come from them.

YES!!!! Thats right. We are adding another addition to our family. We are so blessed to be having another baby. Im due in May and im about 14 weeks right now. How quickly you forget what it's like to have the morning sickness.. UGH! But it's getting better and definately not as bad as baby #1. Next month we will find out what were having and I cant wait!

This year for Halloween Brooklyn was a lady bug. She was so cute. The wings lasted longer than I thought. She loved the idea of saying "Trick or Treat" and getting a treat.

So my hubby is going to be a Financial Advisor but in order to complete all his training he had to go to Fort Worth, Texas for 10 days!!! He left on Sunday and won't get back til NEXT Friday! There's been so much going on lately. I dont even know where to start. First off we had Shae and Chris's wedding. Shae looked absolutely gorgeous. It was such a nice day and everything went great. Here is Shae in her cute dress.

Ok so I mentioned Brooklyn had a hard time well.. The next day which was Friday she came down with a really bad fever and usually we can get it to break with in a couple hours with some help of medicine but there was no breaking this fever. It started at 102 and by saturday it was at 103 so we decided to take her in and we found out she had SWINE FLU!! I started crying in the doctors office cause I was so scared haha. But he reassured us she will be fine just to watch her and give her the meds he proscribed so we did that and within 24 hours her fever was gone and she was feeling much better. ahh.. Now my brother has it. Its just spreading like crazy. But anyways were glad Brooklyn is better. There is nothing worse than a sick kid.

My brother Adam won Homecoming King and in the assembly he needed an escort so we had Brooklyn do it. She did such a good job. I didnt know how she was going to react but she was so cute with him.

Well thats kind of some things we have been up to. I absolutely love this time of year. I cant believe Halloween is almost here. We have parties and Brooklyn gets her pics taken Friday by Hanna. Cant wait to see them. I'll post those when I get them.

Ok it has really been forever since ive done a post so here we go. As most of you know and may not know Ty is studying to be a financial advisor. So with that he has to take 4 tests. He already has taken one and passed it. He has another one tomorrow so hopefully he pasts that one also. At the end of this month me and him have to go to Ft. Worth Texas. Thats where First Commands head quarters are. We will be there for 3 days for an introductory to the business. So we have been pretty busy with all that. Lots of purse parties, work and studying.

Here is my precious Brooklyn who is so so busy lately. Talking like crazy and turning into a little girl :(. Daddy is no longer.. its TYSON! She loves calling him that and I really havent heard daddy come from here mouth in a very long time. She may look like him but is becomming quite the mommy's girl.
Both of my brothers play football for Layton High. So every Friday night we are watching them play. Aaron is #9 and Adam is #1. They are both so good and cant wait for them to kick some butt.

Yesterday was our three year anniversary. I really cant believe it's been 3 years. We started our night off getting sushi!! Yum. My favorite and after that we went to see The time travelers Wife. I finally am posting something.. Can you believe it? Well since my last post we have moved into my parents house and things are going pretty smoothly..We are keeping pretty busy with the summer and the wonderful things to do outside.. Things are starting to slow down here in the Ehler's house..My sweet baby isnt really a baby anymore.. She is definately in her toddler stages. Some of her new things she does is she loves to climb.. on EVERYTHING!! We are always having to tell her sit down but that doesnt go to well obviously. She is changing and growing everyday.. Talking a ton. But how can you resist this cute face? Seriously?

As everyone knows Ty went in to get his apendix out. This is him before the surgery.. All happy. Goofing off as usual..

So my purse business so far has been great.. Tell anyone and everyone about them and add me to your blog.. Please! I got another job yesterday.. I will now be working with a girl who has special needs.. I am so siked about it. I love working with people with dissabilites. So my new job duties will include picking her up, taking her swimming, Shopping, Going to the movies.. Etc.. and the best part is I can take Brooklyn along for the ride...Cant wait to officially get started on that.. As for our house goes.. No Offers!! :( but.. We have now decided to Rent it instead.. Ty put it on KSL Sunday and we had two calls Monday. The people came over last night and it's almost official!! Tonight they will come back to sign all the paperwork and if all goes well.. July 1st we will be moving out and into my parents!! I am way excited but pretty sad at the same time.. I love my house but it will be nice to save some money for a bit and the best part is.. It's still our house so hopefully all goes well tonight and I will definately keep everyone Posted..

Crazy Times....

Well first off I am so behind on posts... and this one will have no pics.. but I will update everyone on whats been going on lately.. I am starting to sell purses.. I have a blog already set up I just need to actually post pics haha.. (Give me a couple more days). Im really excited about that.. I will not only be selling purses but wallets and sunglasses!!! Stay tuned! So Ty was having some really bad back pain last week.. so his mom decided to give him half of a perkisit.. I dont think I spelled that right.. but anyways he took that and his pain was still really bad so he ended up taking the other half.. Not a good idea.. His tummy had a little reaction to it.. So there we were in the ER last Friday night... Did some Cat Scans and they determined he did have a reaction thats why he was in so much pain but also his apendix was looking pretty bad.. so they gave us some meds we went home and had a follow up Cat scan on Tuesday.. The doc calls me shortly after he had his cat scan and said it looked like his apendix wasnt the average apendix they see.. His looked like there was a lot of mucas in it and called it a mucaseal?? So he scheduled us an appt with the surgeon.. SO yesterday Ty had surgery and come to find out.. His apendix had turned 720 degrees and all the blood was being cut off and it was laying on his intestines so the surgeon removed it but was in shock cause he had never seen or heard of this ever happening. He ended up googling it and there have only been 25 cases in the entire world reported of their apendix of doing that.. What can I say.. My husband is one of a kind. But the best part is that we now having matching scars on our stomachs!! They cut him right down the middle and through the belly button.. So we have officially matching tummies (minus he doesnt have stretch marks). Good news he is doing great.. Were home and praying for a quick recovery.. I promise next time I will post some pics! Thanks to our parents for watching Brooklyn!! We appreciate it!

Whats been going on the last Week..

I have been so busy lately.. So me and Ty have been talking for a while and we decided to.........

Yep thats right.. Our house is for sale.. AHH.. I dont know what to think.. We listed it with the realtor last week and have had already 4 people walk through it.. It's been quite the challenge to have my house spotless everyday with a 1 year old but im kind of excited also if it does sale we will be moving in with my parents for a couple months just to catch up on our feet.. Save some money etc...

We had 2 more Easter parties this weekend.. I didnt take my camera to the Cottle party but here is Grandma Kim with Brooklyn and Addie at Grandma and Grandpa Ehlers house..

She loves to tell me shh shh shh like the mommy's on the bus do!!! She's so cute.... Ok so last Tuesday was the Britney Spears concert.. My mother in law had bought me and my sister in laws all tickets to go.. So im getting ready Brooklyn is of course running around and I run to my bedroom for 2 seconds and I hear my straightner drop on the floor and then a really loud scream after.. DANGG... My baby burnt her hand on it.. So then im trying to put ice wrapping it and next thing I know she has my Wall flower in her mouth.. So here I go calling Poison control to see what to do.. They said she's fine. So the next day I take her to the docs cause it was a pretty bad burn.. and they had to cut the skin off where the big blister was.. OUCH.. This was all the same night of Britney Spears.. Bad Mom I know!! So she has been sporting this cute pink bandage on her hand for almost a week now.. But it's getting better.

My husband finally got home ahh... and Brooklyn is everywhere all over my house 24/7.. These are some of the new things she likes to do.. She likes to get on our scale and weigh herself haha..

So my husband has been gone since last Sunday.. He had to go to Minneapolis for Training. Let me tell ya... It's been quite the week in half. My daughter has fallen down the stairs more times this week than ever.. Yes I know bad mom.. but I never realized how much he brings to our family. This year for Valentines Day we spent it with our Wonderful friends. We had Red Robin take out.. (My favorite)! The boys were in charge this year so they decided to do a video about the bachelor and they were the bachelors! It was HILARIOUS! They did a great job. Very Creative.. 1- Year Check Up!!

So Brooklyn had her 1 year check up the other day. I was kinda nervous because with her 6 months she was so upset and just wasnt the same for like a week after so I was bracing myself for a crazy week. She was 23 1/2 pounds and 30 inches long.. So that puts her in the 75% for weight and 95% for height. So after her check up with the doctor in we go for the shots. The poor thing had to get 4 shots! But surprisingly she did really well and didnt get sick this time! YAy! It's so crazy to think that I have a 1 year old but I love every minute of it.. Shes starting to talk more, walk EVERYWHERE, and is always keeping her and me very very busy!

Today is Brooklyn's 1st Birthday.. I cant believe one year ago I was in the hospital. It is so crazy how time flies by. It's been so fun watching her grow and learn new things everyday.. She is truely a blessing in our lives. We couldnt of asked for a better baby!.. She completely has Ty wrapped around her little finger. But Saturday we had her party at our house. This is my Great grandma and my brother Adam. So this would be Brooklyns GReat Great Grandma.. She is 88 Years old and is the cutest thing ever..

Brooklyn really didnt know what to think about her cake.. I think it was a little to cold for her but she wanted us to feed it to her instead of her self...

She got completely spoiled for her birthday.. She got tons of clothes, Toys, Books and much more. Birthday Girl opening up more presents...Thanks everyone for coming and for all the wonderful gifts.. I will be posting more pics later as her big day Goes on :)

As most of you guys know.. My family is huge OU fans.. I lived there for four years and thats where we fell in love with our team.. They played a good game but couldnt pull it off in the end.. OH well.. Maybe Next year!!

I hope everyone had a great New Years!! Every year Ty's family goes bowling On New Years Day.. It was tons of fun!! Getting harder cause Our baby walks EVERYWHERE now but here's some pics of that day!!

Christmas 2008!!!

This year for Christmas we had a pretty busy day. We went to my parents first for breakfast and presents and after that we went to Ty's parents where we did our presents..Then we went to Grandma Cottles for lunch and more presents and last but not least my grandmas for dinner and presents.. Not to mention Brooklyn got so sick on Christmas with the flu and is finally getting over it..:( But we had a great Christmas and got so much stuff, way more than we should have but here are some random pics of the big day..

We went to the game a little while ago with Britt's parents. The Jazz played really well that game and ended getting the W. Hopefully this year they can pull it off and get to the finals. They are off to a rough start and not playing that well in my eyes. Lets see when loser boozer gets back what kind of run we can make for the playoffs. (Boozer is not my fav. player as you can tell... He is good but does not pull through when it counts ...PLAYOFFS...)

This year we got to go to the Cottle's side first for Thanksgiving.. We ate yummy food and played Amazing Race.. Two people from each family got to represent.. So Chase and Shae went for our family.. They did a great job but we ended up in 2nd place.. :( We had a great time!

Brooklyn Can Walk!

Brooklyn started walking the week we left to mexico. Its kind of funny how we joked about her making her first steps and we might miss them. We joked about it because we didnt think she would start walking before she turned 10 months but what you know. She turned 10 months old on Nov 19. This is just a short clip. She is only taking 3-5 steps at a time right now but I know very shortly she will be all over the place!!

Mexico was so much fun! We had a great time in the sun. We also gained a little weight from the all you can eat and drink perks of being an all inclusive resort ha ha. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time together. Its amazing how big some of these resorts are. The resort we stayed in had over 1500 rooms! We are glad to be back though but it was a way fun trip!

So Tomorrow morning we leave for Mexico... I am excited and very sad at the same time... We are not taking Brooklyn with us.. She is staying with my mom for a whole Week.. I've never been apart from her for a day so this is going to be really hard for me.. but I know she will be in good care.. Thanks Mom... We love you and appreciate you doing this for us..I will take lots of pics so I can post them all when we get back... See ya in a week...

We had a very busy Halloween Night.. We first went to all the grandparents houses to show them all our costumes... I convinced Tyson to dress up as Peter Pan. I was Wendy and then we of course had our Tinkerbell. First stop was Grandma and Grandpa Cottles.. Mia was there and she was dressed up as a sheep... Probably the cutest sheep ive ever seen...

Last but not least we went to Gentry and Alyssa's.. We had a great time.. Lots of games and yummy treats.. One of the games was a Fear Factor game.. Me and Holly were on a team and Michael Paul and Ty were also on one... Me and Holly ended up dropping out after we heard we would be eating Sardines.. but the boys got pretty close to the end until it came time to eat dog food and MP had a hard time swallowing his.. I dont blame ya... Yuck! But it was such a fun time here are some pics of the evening..

On Thursday night.. My dad's whole side got together.. My great grandpa Bunting passed away..They lived in Texas so we didnt get to see them much but he always said when he passed away he wanted to be cremated and have his ashes brought back to Utah... So thats what they did.. I havent seen my grandma Bunting in years.. So it was really good to see her.. Here are some pics of all of us together at Golden Corral! These are my little Brothers... Adam and Aaron.. They love Brooklyn to death.. especially when she pulls my hair.. they think thats so funny. Aaron did not want his picture taken so this is what I got...What a nerd..

Pumpkin Carving Party!!

This year the Roberts hosted a pumpkin carving party. Everyone brought yummy treats and basically we pigged out all night, carved pumpkins and watched The Hulk.

Brooklyn Is Now Crawling!

Brooklyn has decided to go on the "Biggest Loser" and shed some pounds. She is doing some push ups to get in shape. These are just some of the many tricks and work outs she does.

She has been crawling for a couple days a few feet at a time. She is growing so fast and we are so excited to see her do new things.

Yup thats right... baby girl says dad. The order in which words starting coming out would be as follows...

Ha ha I love every minute of it. Its fun waking up in the morning to an incredibly loud baby shouting your name. She has no clue what it means but all of my repeating "hi dad" and "dadada" to her has finally paid off. She is starting to crawl. The only problem is she only moves her right foot so its kind of funny looking and sometimes she face plants it but I think she will be catching on any day now. She is becoming very dependent on being around Britt and I. She has a hard time when we leave her alone. She also loves normal food. We dont really feed any to her but she loves the taste of cake, eggos, bread, fruit, etc... She wants it all! We even have her now using a sippy cup with juice. I still think she likes her bottle better but she will get used to it. She has also figured out how to tear down her thing that hangs above her when she sleeps in her crib. (I cant even think of the name.) Every morning when I come in its completely taken off. I now have to also lower her crib because she is starting to pull herself up. I still think her fat keeps her from pulling herself completely up ha ha but we love the rolls. She is still the best baby in the world! We have never had a problem with her sleeping through the night and she is still an angel. Its amazing to watch her grow and develop. The best part is one she said dad first ha ha jk... but now she knows who I am and reaches for me to pick her up. That makes any day a good day after some stressfull days at work! So there you have it... some updated info. and how baby girl is progressing.

Brookyln had her six month appt last week.. I know im a little late she's really 7 months but thats a long story anyways.. Lets just say her doctor calls her tank with a bow! She is in the 98th percentile. Which we were very proud of. I can't believe she will be 8 months on the 19th.. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE? She is very busy wanting to look, eat and touch everything. That's my girl!!

We were playing around yesterday at grandma Kim's and decided to stick this on Addie's head. She looked so funny with it on. Her eyes were sunk down and she would just stand there with this thing on her head. We love cousin Addie.

This is a new trick that I have started doing with her for a couple weeks now. She loves it! I have always balanced her with one hand but now she likes to stand up and do it. She is becoming so mobile and into everything so its a blast to see her try new things. (P.S.- Sorry grandparents.... I know how you hate seeing her up like that ha ha but no worries... she has only fallen 4 times......jk)

Brooklyn Mikell Ehlers was born at Mckay Dee Hospital on January 19, 2008. She came out 7 lbs and 19.5 inches long. She was perfect! The labor and pregrancy went great! She looks just like her dad but has my lips ha ha... She loves to talk and make noises. Tyson can always get her to smile. She loves to see him when he comes home from work. She loves to kick her legs and is always happy. She sleeps through the night. She started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old!! WE LOVE THAT! She is now a chunker and loves her bottle.
